You will need to make sure that you have a translator to attend with you unless you speak fluent Spanish (your agent will probably arrange this for you). This meeting can be as soon as 2 weeks after signing the Private Contract but it is usually around 4 weeks. Once your agent has arranged an appointment you can either go and sign the contact in person or if you cannot attend you can set up a Power of Attorney so that someone can do this on your behalf. This is when you will need to pay the balance of the purchase including taxes and Notary’s fees.
